Museum of Sacred Art
The Museum is housed in some rooms next to the church of Santa Maria di Piazza, on the upper floor of the sacristy, the ancient oratory of the Madonna della Misericordia. Inside it preserves very ancient objects of sacred art used by the brotherhoods and works of sacred art from the ancient rural churches, attesting to the faith and devotion of our fellow ancestors in the last five hundred years.
It was inaugurated on March 18, 1979 by the bishop Mons. Cleto Bellucci, then closed due to the inaccessibility of the premises and reopened to the public on June 24, 2016 after the work to bring the premises up to their original style.
